Blueberry picking at Aspetuck, Easton, CT + tour by Tom Johnson

What a spectacular way to begin a Sat. morning.  This 1,000 acre preserve is beautiful and the blueberries are a bonus.  There is a view where you can see all the way to Long Island Sound. Can't wait to go back to see the hawks in the fall.
PS   Even though it was early in the season we were able to harvest so who is making blueberry pie with all those delicious blueberries?

Walk and eat blueberries to stay in shape

Let the picking begin

View of private farm that borders preserve

Hiking down to the blueberry patch

In the distance is the Long Island Sound

Can you guess what animal made this? Hoot, hoot.....

Can you guess what made these prints?
